Siamese / Oriental

One of the oldest and most recognizable breeds, the Siamese is known for its striking blue eyes, color-point coat, and sleek, tubular body. Highly vocal and social, Siamese cats are famous for “talking” to their owners in a distinctive, raspy voice and demanding attention. They're intelligent, active, and form intensely close bonds with their people, often following them around and disliking being left alone. Oriental Shorthairs share the same body type and personality but come in solid colors and patterns rather than color-points. Both varieties are playful, people-oriented, and do best in households where they get plenty of interaction.
