Scottish Fold

The Scottish Fold is instantly recognizable by its folded ears, caused by a natural genetic mutation, which give it a distinctive round, “owl-like” face. They have a sweet, easygoing temperament, are generally quiet, and enjoy relaxing in unusual poses that have made the breed famous online, including sitting upright like a small Buddha. Scottish Folds are affectionate and social, bonding closely with their families while remaining fairly adaptable to apartment living. They're playful without being overly demanding and typically get along well with children and other pets. Their coat, whether short or long, needs only weekly brushing to stay healthy.
